I love this album, I reckon it's the best by Van the man, but there are some other great
too.
I haven't put the guitar fills in, but they're pretty easy to figure out. This song is
simple,
just this riff most of the time and some synth chords; easy stuff.
Check out my tab of Doctor Doctor by UFO (ver. 4), it needs rating, and I swear to god
perfect
(though perfection by its very nature is flawed, so there could be some errors in the intro...)
Right, to business. You could use a capo for this song, I think he does, but I don't own
and it's
pretty easy without. The first chord is D#, played open like this:
E|-3-| ...in four successive semi-quavers, then a one-beat rest.
B|-4-| It's the same rhythm for all the chords, just listen to the song,
G|-3-| real easy.
Second chord, you add the 2nd (or the 9th, it doesn't really matter, they're the same),
you have
a shape like this:
E|---| Non capo users: I recommend barre-ing with your index finger
B|-5-| (obviously), holding the low D# on the A string with your ring
G|-3-| finger, Pinkie on the 9th (B string), and middle finger on the G
D|-5-| (D string).
LA -6-MI ---After that it's a G# barre chord, and an A# barre chord, which I prefer to play like this:
E|---| ...simply laying your ring finger across the third fret, 'coz that
B|-3-| way it's easier to get back to the D# chord.
